What happens in a consultation?

The first consultation will last about an 1 hour. In addition to exploring your main complaint, a very detailed case history will be taken in order to paint an accurate picture of you as an individual and to provide the best advice and treatment. Your blood pressure and pulse are usually recorded and, if necessary, a physical examination will be done. 

After careful consideration, a herbal preparation is prescribed and prepared for you, with the possible addition of supplements and diet & lifestyle advice suited to you as an individual. The next appointment is usually 2-3 weeks later and lasts around 20-30 mins. Here, your condition and treatment are reviewed and follow-up appointments are generally every 1-2 months.

Note: The cost of the consultation does not include the price of any herbal preparations that are recommended following a consultation. These are charged separately.  
After consultation, you are entitled to a 10% discount on necessary supplements from The Natural Dispensary.

  • Full consultation face-to-face in the clinic or online via Zoom/telephone.

  • Follow-up consultation face-to-face in the clinic or online via Zoom/telephone.

    Cost: £55

  • Mini consultations are also available. They last around 20 minutes and are only appropriate for minor issues and symptomatic relief/advice e.g. cold and flu.

    Note that full consultations are default and mini consultations are only offered after explicit discussion.
