Sophia The Herbalist

The human body is an interrelated and interdependent system and thus requires an integrated approach to its treatment, which endobiogeny offers.

Endobiogeny is a system of medicine that considers the endocrine system (the glands in the body and the hormones they produce) to be the absolute manager of the body. Together with the nervous system, it determines the conditions of the body and how it functions in health and disease.

Endobiogeny is based on modern physiology just like conventional biomedicine. However, it differs because it views the body as a whole system, not just as its individual parts. Each system in the body is interrelated with and interdependent upon one another and thus requires an integrated approach to treatment, which endobiogeny offers.

What to expect in an endobiogebic consultation?

Detailed case history

The practitioner will take an in-depth history regarding not only the problem you come in with but all details of your health from birth until the present. This provides clues as to the imbalances that may be present in your body.

Physical examination

After the case history, you can expect a thorough physical examination. These observations can reveal much information about your body’s neuroendocrine activity and thus provide more clues about your imbalances.

Blood test

You will also go to have a special blood test, the results of which give us a picture of exactly what is happening in the body. These results, together with the case history and physical examination allow the practitioner to devise an individualised treatment plan for you.
